Homeopathy Treatments & Costs
Although Homeopathy is an in person therapy, it can be conducted via a zoom appointment.
Initial Consultation
A full medical history will be taken and you will be asked to talk about your past and your present. All information discussed and noted at your appointments is treated with the highest level of confidentiality.
Homeopathy does not just treat you for your current illness or presenting symptoms, but looks at your life as a whole to find the correct remedy for you.
Ann will then take your notes away and analyse the best treatment plan for you, during the consultation. Once a treatment plan has been decided, your remedy will be sent to you with clear instructions, this may come in the form of a tablet/pill, a cream or even liquid form.

Follow up appointments
These can be from half an hour to a full hour. You will need to keep a record of what has happened since taking your remedy . Ann will then take your notes away with her to ensure that your plan does not need any changing, she may even inform you of your plan whilst at this appointment.
The cost of any remedies will be included in your appointment fees, this will cover all pills/tablets and medicated potency.
If however you would like any creams or lotions for example Arnica cream these are charged in addition to your appointment fees.

Acutes - Appointments
Ann is also available for half hour appointments for acute treatments. This is an ailment or illness which is less than 2 weeks old. For example this could be a simple cold that has left a chesty cough or a stomach upset that you are unable to clear.
This type of appointments can also be used for a mother and baby appointment for assistance with babies that may be teething.
£35 fixed fee.
Pregnancy and Child Birth
Homeopathy can also be used during pregnancy and childbirth for mums to be that would like to be as close to a natural birth as possible. These appointments are usually an hour long.
Lotions and Potions
You can also be provided with a range of natural creams, ointments, lotions and potions sold by Ann made to order as they have no additives or preservatives. These can be used for all manor of things from skin conditions to pulled muscles.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Sometimes it’s called essential oil therapy.
Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils medicinally to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It enhances both physical and emotional health.
Aromatherapy works through the sense of smell and skin absorption using products such as these:
- diffusers
- aromatic spritzers
- inhalers
- bathing salts
- body oils, creams, or lotions for massage or topical application
- facial steamers
- hot and cold compresses
- clay masks
You can use these alone or in any combination.

Bach Flower Remedies
The Story Of Bach® Original Flower Remedies
The system of plant and flower-based essences was developed in the 1930’s by Dr. Edward Bach, a physician and homeopath who was convinced that emotional well being was key to good health.
Dr. Bach devoted his life to exploring the use of flowers and plants and eventually went on to establish The Bach Centre in Oxfordshire, England, where he developed the natural flower essences as we know them today.
Consultations for Bach Flower Remedies can be done by a virtual appointment in the comfort of your own home.
0.5 hour appointment. £40 fixed fee.
Lotions and Potions
Ann creates her own lotions and potions many to order although a few common ones can be found at her therapy room.
She uses herbal tinctures from the Herbal Appothacry with base oils and creams that are free from Parabans and Sulphates.
Ann example of this is her arnica shower gel, used after a session at the gym will help with the aches and pains.

All appointments are secured by a non refundable deposit. Should you not attend or notify to change your appointment this deposit will pay for the appointment slot.
24 hour notice must be given to cancel or move appointments. If the deposit is not paid within 48 hours of the booking the booking will be cancelled.

All appointments are booked at a clinic in Hoghton.
Appointments via phone or teams may be available depending on availability and needs of the individual.
If you require a home appointment an additional £5.00 is charged for visits in a 10 miles radius. Additional 45p per mile will be added to any appointments that are further but please ask about this am happy to come to an agreement.
Cancer Care Patients
Any Cancer patients that attend Gentle Approach to Cancer in Preston will be seen in clinic free of charge (a small donation to cover the cost of remedy and postage is desired). If you want to be seen away from the therapy day rates will be agreed in advance.
